OKOROCHA WHERE ARE THE JOBS IN IMO STATE

The Supreme Court has given its judgment on the Imo State gubernatorial election petition and OwelleRochasOkorocha is still the occupant of Douglas House Owerri. The Supreme Court had upheld Okorocha's election upon the technical claim that the appeal elapsed the required 60 days as provided by the law.The governor and his cronies celebrated the Supreme Court victory .They shouted in boyish delight, popped Champaign bottles and danced in government House Owerri. In hoarse macho voices, they sang victory songs.
In his victory speech, our governor jumped up, boxed in and 'talk the talk' about how he is making Imo State an El Dorado and described his victory as a victory for democracy and a victory for Imo people. He banged his fist on the table and beat his chest about how he is making Imo State a model State and asked critics to give him a breathing space to work. He lambasted critics saying that they are sponsored to paint his administration black. ''If they have some criticisms why don't they watch me for four years'', he said.
I have been smiling many, many times ever since I heard this information .For me it is good governance that I am fighting for. My interest is human progress and the progress of Imo people. The wake-up call to vigilance cannot come at a better time than now. Every high profile public servant is like a gold fish. He has no hiding place. His actions will be scrutinized every minute. Like Dr EmenikeNwankwo once said “ Our duty is not to support Okorocha the man no matter what. Our duty is to support what is good for Imo people .If he moves along the line of making Imo what we expect, we will give him our full support''.
Okorocha cannot claim good governance when he is not creating jobs.He should not expect praise when he is sending the people out of jobs. Imo State unemployment rate is high. Thousands of Imolites are willing to work but are not employed.Unemployment is the number one issue in Imo state today. In an SP poll, 89 percent of Imo citizens cited unemployment as the state's most important problem. Imo people need jobs. That is how they can put food on the table. Every day, thousands of our unemployed brothers and sisters , including those who lost their jobs due to the sack of the 10,000 jobs, scan the pages of newspapers and websites for job advertisements. Why can't we create jobs in Imo State ? Unemployed graduates, unemployed construction workers, unemployed engineers, unemployed teachers, unemployed security guards, unemployed cooks, unemployed waiters and those desperate for a job in Imo can no longer wait. Job is number one priority in Imo State and Okorocha cannot continue to confuse Imo people with some false claims and abracadabra. The question remains where are the jobs in Imo State?
He should stop being over desperate for people's applause and give the people jobs. He sacked the beneficiaries of the 10,000 jobs. Heshould recall the sacked 10,000 legally employed civil servants in Imo state. His inability to create jobs for Imo youths is unacceptable. We want to know how many graduates in Imo State owe their jobs to his efforts. We want to know what new facilities are underway to serve as a job base for the people of Imo State. We what to see him build industries, schools, bridges, water systems, electricity networks and other projects in our LGA's that facilitate job creation. We want to see him build good roads in our LGA's not the coal tar that he is pouring on sand inOwerri in the name of roads
He should stop making unimaginable promises that we know he cannot fulfill . He should stop the window dressing to attract undeservedapplause. He said he will give scholarship of N25,000.00 per annum to every primary school pupil in the state; N40,000.00 scholarship to every secondary school student in the state; N60,000 scholarship for every OND student of the state Polytechnic; N80,000.00 scholarship per annum for every HND student and N100,000.00 scholarship for every Imo State indigene studying at the Imo state University in addition to receiving tuition free.
According to a Professor at Imo State University, out of over 35,000 student enrolment at the Imo State University, about 31,500 are indigenes of Imo State. It will cost the state about N3.5 billion to offer scholarship to the University students as proposed; N416 million for Polytechnic students; and N21 billion for primary and secondary school students, each year. This comes to about N24.9 billion per annum. The average annual income of the state is N 34 billion. Can you see the abracadabra? How will he sustain the free education? Why does he believe that Imo people are this daft?
We are not comfortable with the directive that the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in Imo State should engage in commercial activities in order to generate their salaries and allowances. Subventions to the MDAs in Imo state have been completely withdrawn which has resulted to over taxing of Imo people. Imo government now churns out multiple taxation and harsh levies on Imo citizens using indecent task forces and unethical conducts
We are not comfortable thatOkorocha has not paid Imo State Civil servants the so-called N20, 000 minimum wage. My sources told me that Imo Civil servants are receiving only N11,000 salary for grade level one.Imo workers are afraid to voice out this truth for fear of victimization. We have not seen any movement by Labour Union in Imo State to address the challenges faced by workers in the state. This is totally unfair and shows that Labour in Imo State has no sense of concern about the plights of workers in the state. Itshould pain and worry NLC in Imo state that workers are hurting.
We are not comfortable that he has not redeemed his N100million development fund to each of the LGAs in Imo. What about the N1billion that he also promised to each of the LGAs? He has so far not redeemed these pledges to the LGA's. Where will he even get the money from? Was it budgeted for? He talks too loudly and too often without fulfillment.
We are not comfortable that no development is happening in over 90 percent of Imo State Councils. Why are our LGA funds held hostage and why are we deprived the opportunity to function democratically at the grassroots? Why can't we have council election in Imo State? Why must we be deceiving Imo people every month about the allocation given to LGA's. Do the LGA's really receive the advertised amount? He should conduct council election.Who is fooling who? Save us o' God.

Gov Rochas Okorocha was booed today at the Secretariat in Imo State

Hmm. I was minding my business today when an Imolite reached out to me via messenger.  Her first line was … “Your Uncle was booed today at the Secretariat“.   “Uncle” ofcourse being Governor Rochas Okorocha. LWKMD. You people should  free me abeg!

Anyway, so back to the gist. She goes to spill details of the Governor’s ordeal in the hands of unhappy civil servants at the Secretariat today. Not sure how many of you read the last Press Release from the Government House where Gov.Okorocha explained the need to redeploy workers to the rural areas.  It was at that meeting that all hell broke loose.  The whole place erupted in loud booing. Infact, it was similar to the booing Abia State Governor T.A Orji received in Aba not too long ago.

In her own words :

“The  (edited) man said he wants to downsize ministries. That each ministry should have just 100 staff. Government House 100 and very big ministries maybe 200….. so he went there to address them and he was booed close to tears.  My husband was there live. He said shame leave Rochas catch am.

She continued….

That news made my day :) ! Atleast, his mesmerizing jazz don dey wear off. Nne m, I no fit happy. No sympathy for him.  They said he couldn’t even address them again because the booing was “one in town“. He left there and went and cancelled all other appointments. Went straight to the airport and off to Abuja.

Then she ends the transmission with….

“Onwebeghi ihe ohuru! Ubua ka wu ututu ya!

umu nne m, but why?

What did nna anyi ukwu do to deserve this sort of embarrassment? Is that how we are going to treat a Governor who for starters, has promised to give our children FREE EDUCATION to University level? Look around you and see how the whole place has changed under his Administration. Is it not convincing enough that he means well?

Man kills only precious son for rituals

This is an update on the story as published by Nigeria News, an online news media.
The identity of the guy that committed this ugly and heart rendering act has been revealed. Investigation by the juristlaw showed that the man in question is the younger brother of Chief Reagan Ufomba of APGA, called Izuchi.
According to inside source, the Ufomba’s family is noted for secret society membership. This is not the first time this is happening. Regan himself did this during Orji Uzor Kalu tenure when he was the P A to the Igbere politician. Our source said that it’s a common knowledge in his adopted community in Ngwa land that Reagan’s family is very fetish, that's why they have been told to go back to their place of origin Ogoni land. Meanwhile police have begun a man hunt of Izuchi Ufomba, the culprit who is now on the run like his senior brother Reagan.

Suspected kidnappers on rampage in Imo State of Nigeria, three people feared dead

About three people were feared dead weekend in Imo State as armed gangsters suspected to be kidnappers stormed the rural Orogwe and Ogbaku communities in Owerri West and Mbaitoli local council areas.
The incidents came barely a few days after armed robbers stormed the Mbari Street branch of a first generation bank, bombed the Automated Teller Machine, carted away the money in it and shot four staff of the bank.
Vanguard equally gathered that the hoodlums kidnapped a lady and her two brothers, who returned from the United States of America to bury their mother this week.
It was also gathered that hoodlums suspected to be assassins trailed one Mr. Charles Udochukwu Okpe, to Orogwe where they finally silenced him.
The identities of the other slain persons were not known at press time but a villager who preferred anonymity, disclosed that the owner of Impetus filling station and a retired army captain, Emmanuel Iheanacho, was among those kidnapped by the armed hoodlums.
When Vanguard visited Orogwe and Ogbaku communities, people were seen in groups discussing the tragedy that befell their respective communities, as well as bemoaned the deteriorating security situation in the state.

Breaking News...... Reagan Ufomba in a Sex Scandal... Wife caught him and his mistress

Reagan Ufomba APGA candidate in the last governorship polls in Abia  is in a big mess as his family is in disarray over adultery scandal. Reagan who is in a paternity mess following revelation that he is from Ogoni was caught by his wife while  frolicking with an American girl in a five star hotel  Ikeja Lagos. Luck ran out of the politician play boy when the wife who has been suspecting him , trailed him to this hotel, waited for him and the girl friend to arrive in the night holding each other in their drunken state. His wife being smart quickly bounced on him and beat the hell out of Reagan who ran away from seminary school in his school days after impregnating the daughter of a socialite in his adopted town of Ngwa. His girlfriend who could not stand the shame ran away leaving Reagan helpless. When the Ogoni born con man regained consciousness he quickly ran to his room.

It was learns that the wife took Reagan’s key and drove their family car to an unknown destination. The Ogoni born politician has been going from one media house to the other trying to kill the story. As it is Reagan said that the former governor of Abia state Orji Uzor Kalu is behind his woes since he (Reagan) opened up on Kalu’s past especially the one that deals will the sponsorship of kidnapping in Abia few years ago. Reagan has vowed to disgrace Kalu as  he claimed he stole the printing press he bought for Abia state while in office to open SUN newspapers.

Okorocha behind crisis in Imo APGA –Prince Nwaka, State Party Chairman

Nwaka
The Imo State chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has been engrossed in crisis following the purported dissolution of the state party executive by a group referred to as “outsiders” and not established members of the party.

The group purportedly sacked Cletus Nwaka led – state executives and constituted a 15-man interim committee headed by Udo Agoha.
In a chat with Nwaka, the state chairman of the party accused the state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha of fueling the crisis having written to the National Chairman of the party Chief Victor Umeh on July 8, 2011, reference No. GH/GOV/S.001/1/1, ten days after his inauguration to dissolve the state executives.

Nwaka also disclosed that governor Okorocha and his Anambra State counterpart, Mr. Peter Obi, on July 15, 2011 jointly wrote a letter to Umeh requesting him to dissolve party executives at all levels.
According to him, Okorocha has refused to carry the state party executives along, having turned down the party nominees for offices three times.

Who is in charge of APGA in Imo State?
Prince Cletus Chukwuemeka Nwaka is incharge of APGA in Imo State. He is the state chairman of the party and he has the executives. There is no crack in the state executives of the party and for somebody to say that he is this or that, is neither here nor there. Somebody cannot just get up one day and nominate any group of people to replace a constitutionally elected executive to run the affairs of the party. What they do is just a farce and the big joke about this thing is that a lot of these people who have been named as interim members of the excos of their own party are not established members of APGA. They are not members of APGA. You don’t form the executive of a party from non-party members. You don’t just wake up one morning and dissolve a constitutionally elected executive of a party. I don’t even know who organized it, or rather somebody was said to have inaugurated a body. Who is that body? Is he an APGA member? Of course, he is not.
Who are members of this group?
They are members of Agenda group of Owelle Rochas Okorocha. You know that before the election, Governor Okorocha and his group stormed my office to beat up both Dr. Iwuagwu, the Owerri Zonal Chairman and myself in this particular office. Even they broke some chairs and tables. He still has some grudges against us, and individually. One would have thought that as somebody who has won an election he is expected to carry everybody along with him, but he did not do that. When he was forming his cabinet, the party submitted a list to him up to three times, and nobody from the list submitted by the party was considered for an appointment.

We can only count on one member of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party from the state that was appointed a commissioner, and the state Publicity Secretary was also appointed. No other person was appointed either a Commissioner or Special Adviser into his cabinet. The third end of his appointment, when the pressure was on him, he called on the Orlu Zonal Chairman and gave him an appointment.

Because of personal hatred for me he (Governor Rochas Okorocha) doesn’t pick my calls. I have no access to him either on phone, or face to face discussion. I am subjected to unruly protocol resistance at the gate. He requested the National Executives of our party to dissolve the State Executives. He had written to the National Chairman of the Party Chief Victor Umeh on July 8, 2011 to send the current state party exco packing and setup a 15-man caretaker committee to replace it. He is involved in this plot to sack the current party state executives. If the National Working Committee (NWC) had refused granting him the permission as an authority, he has now devised another means to use some disgruntled people to actualize his ambition.
Since this crisis enveloped in your party, what is the role of Chief Martins Agbaso as the leader of the party?
Chief Martins Agbaso still remains the state party leader in view of an understanding before, during and after elections. So he is the Imo State APGA Leader. We discussed with him over our feelings with the governor, but as a father, he tried to mediate and advised us to avoid confrontation. He tried as he could, but if you advises somebody not to be confrontational he has his own way of ensuring that peace prevails in the party.
Rumours are making rounds that the two elected governors under APGA are trying to destroy APGA before defecting to PDP to actualize their 2015 presidential ambitions?
If a governor wants to build a party, the governor should cooperate with the party leadership, party structures and build it for good. If on the other side, the governor disregards the party, and carries out any plan to destroy the party, then he doesn’t have APGA spirit in his mind. I would want to say that he (Okorocha) tries to convert individuals into APGA so that when he eventually quits and joins PDP the whole lot of them will follow him.

REAGAN UFOMBA ON THE RUN

Nemesis seems to be catching up with Reagan Ufomba APGA candidate in Abia State in the 2011 governorship polls.

The Juristlaws learnt that Ufomba who lost at the last election is on the run as those he borrowed money to prosecute his ambition is now on his neck. Ufomba who abandoned his priesthood at a catholic seminary in the early stages of his life having impregnated the daughter of a well-known socialite in Ngwa, has left his house in Aba to an undisclosed location.

Our sources said that those who gave him the money running into billions did that believing that he will win the election.

Having failed, he assured them that he will get victory in the court, that has failed too as the supreme court recently ruled that he never won the Abia guber polls 2011.

It was learnt that Ufomba who relied on former governor of Abia State Orji Uzor Kalu, is highly disappointed as the former governor  who made his paper available for campaigns for him, has shut him out. In fact the last time he went on his knees to beg Kalu to save him, the Igbere born publisher was said to have told his guards to send him away.  Kalu, our source hinted said that he can help Reagan by giving him space in the sun newspaper to attack T. A. Orji.

As it is right now, Ufomba has gone into hiding as he cannot pay the N10 billion he borrowed.

Reagan it was gathered is not happy with Kalu whom he worked for as a Special Assistant, as he has threatened to open a can of worms on the former governor soon to pay him back.

The police and SSS, it was learnt are trailing Ufomba where security sources said he may have relocated to.

This news site will update you on the Reagan Ufomba of APGA show of shame.
